"Physical Fitness is the first requisite of Happiness"
Joseph Pilates
Whether you choose a one-to-one, small or larger group format, I offer quality teaching of the Joseph Pilates Method. Currently, all of my classes are mat-based, with many poses performed either lying or seated.
Each session focuses on centering and technique, coupled with flowing movement in keeping with the original Pilates principles, in order to help each client achieve their optimal level of fitness. Demonstration, particularly at Beginners level, is achieved with precision and frequency, making classes easy to follow.
Equipment, such as core balls, weights, and resistance bands, add diversity, and are introduced in improver sessions to challenge the core and to increase resistance.

Staff Wellness - on location
Tailored to suit the demands on school and company employees, staff wellness courses work around the organisation. Classes conducted on-site for convenience, lunchtime and evening classes offer a great opportunity to mingle with friends and co-workers in a non-competitive environment. As well as being a perfect team-building exercise, this is an ideal way to relieve the stress and tension of the day.
General information
If you are new to Pilates, or have limited experience, one private session is encouraged, and at times is a necessity, until the movement becomes familiar. This is because, before commencing a series of Pilates sessions, it is important for participants to have an understanding of the role of alignment and breathing techniques to engage the deep abdominal muscles that support and stabilise the spine. Although hands-on teaching is given in every session, during one-to-one sessions personal attention is assured.

Terms and conditions: Please note that private sessions (1:2:1 & small group sessions) cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will incur a 50% cancellation fee. Due to the additional time allowed for private classes held off-site, a 100% cancellation fee will apply in this instance. All courses must be paid for in advance and are non-refundable in the event that the client is unable to attend, although missed classes may be made up where there is space available.
